Strong Villages provides assistance to indigenous populations worldwide. “Compassion in Action” is more than a slogan, it’s our way of life. Our volunteers feel the same! Imagine traveling into the rainforest of Belize to provide vital support to the indigenous. It’s life changing for them and us.

When 13 teens from Agoura High School in S. California agreed to volunteer with Strong Villages in the jungles of Belize, they had no idea what to expect. The result? True transformation for the local indigenous population and the California kids.

This is how it all began for Strong Villages CO-Founder, Lynn Bealer. 15 years ago the seed for service was planted! ABC7 News, Los Angeles produced this in 2002.
