Over three billion toothbrushes are disposed of every year.  That’s a 165,000,000  pounds of plastic or the weight of more than 5,500 school buses. One of the most prevalent forms of ocean plastic pollution is toothbrushes.  That is why Strong Villages promotes our bamboo toothbrush program. The bamboo toothbrush is Eco-friendly and when it’s worn out, it will turn into compost in the rain forest or other ecologically sensitive areas.  Our goal is to provide education and support to encourage mission groups to change over to the bamboo toothbrush.  The cost is very nominal . Please contact Strong Villages so that we may assist you with your mission.
