Indian Creek Village ~ Mayan village

IMG_3993Indian Creek Village is a  Quiché, Mayan Indian located in the Toledo DistrictBelize, Central America. It is a quaint village surrounded by hills only 12 miles from Punta Gorda. It nestles on the edge of an extensive wetland area which harbors a large variety of bird, plant and animal life. . Options include the Nim Li Punit ~The Big Hat” archeological site with its ball courts stelea and commanding view of the countryside, cave visits, and canoeing on the peaceful MohoRiver. Indian Creek is a Kek’chi community of about 250 residents.  Much of the handi work of local residents is made from the rainforest plants, seeds and rock.
